Mathias Gaertner is Head Legal & Compliance and has been a member of the Group Executive Committee since 2021.
 

Background

Mathias is a proven senior legal leader in technology-driven building solutions with a solid track record in international mergers & acquisitions and compliance. He spent 10 years at Honeywell Building Technologies, most recently as General Counsel, playing an instrumental role in the business’ growth.

He joined Holcim in 2021 as Head Legal & Compliance.

Mathias studied at the University of Münster, where he obtained his PhD, and is admitted to the German bar. Mathias is a German national and was born in 1973.
